| so i just signed my contract for kanakuk this summer. i'm so excited that i get another opportunity to go to this place and be around kids for another 2 months of my life. my first term i'm working, i'm going to be part of the office staff instead of being a kitchie. i'm very excited to get to view kamp from another persepective. and then, of course, i'll be a counselor for my 2nd term. God taught me so many things last summer, and i can't wait to get back to learn more and to share with these kids what i've learned! He has blessed me so much. plus i get to go flying through the air off of a trapeze into a huge pool with tons of little kids screaming around you because you just did a backflip  so many things to look forward to...

| well my life is crazy. classes are nuts! i learned how to do blood pressure and all the really basic stuff of nursing. its all kinda hard. i ordered the scrubs today...excited about getting them finally but not excited about all the money i have to spend in this major. this weekend was a good one...relaxing but productive. i watched one night with the king, and i have to say that that movie was a good movie. granted, that it was written based on a book so it added a bunch of fictional aspect into the story of esther, i still liked it. it has this song in it called kingom of love that i have just fallen in love with. it sung in the language of the ancient persians and it is so beautiful. the girl who sings the song (Shani) has a perfect voice that easily captures the high notes. its the kind of song you want to listen to before a marathon or something like that when you need to be inspired. i think i've listened to it about a hundred times since friday. it's a great thing to get me through the semester   | Currently Watching

| i know that break is good and that everyone needs a break, but i think i'm about to go mad sitting in this house all day since i've gotten back from colorado. i've watched more tv than i ever need to watch again. true, i have gotten a lot of stuff done, but i do need a little break from the indoors |
